What is AlliantConnect?

Our platform will transform your live event to virtual reality. AlliantConnect’s state of the art technology will offer your attendees the sustainability for social, and learning engagement, as well as network opportunities for a memorable virtual experience. What are the technical requirements needed to produce a Virtual Event on AlliantConnect?

For the most part we use the same technical approach we would incorporate in a live event environment. When planning your virtual event, there are various technical options that have to be considered. For example: web browser user options, internet connectivity, and most importantly bandwidth allocation, just to name a few. Please ensure your organization meets hardware, software and bandwidth requirements well in advance of the virtual conference. consult with your IT staff or consultant to ensure you are ready and available to access all elements of the event before it begins.

What if any are my options for producing a Virtual Event on AlliantConnect?

Our recommendation is to produce a virtual event the same way you would a live event. Using the same tools and resources. From set-up day, run-of-show/show-flow preparation, scheduling rehearsals, content & content preparation, to the execution of the virtual event. From Live to Virtual, here are (5) steps to consider:

1) Make Big Decisions. 2) Build Your Team. 3) Consider Your Audiences. 4) Design The Flow. 5) Execute.

Can we have an IT Helpdesk in AlliantConnect?

Yes, a Helpdesk agent can be available at our Information desk at the main entrance of our Resort. Our agents will be able to offer immediate technical support to your attendees for a minimal fee (?). Our Helpdesk agents will assist with troubleshooting technical issues related to user devices and AlliantConnect features. A 3 hour minimum is required . Please note: (1) Helpdesk agent is recommended for every (200) guests in attendance.

How can our attendees have live interaction with our presenters at an event in AlliantConnect?

Yes, with a simple click of a button you can instant message and request to meet in one of our designated blue-striped areas public, private interaction areas, private suites, offices, small meeting rooms, on the beach, or even on a boat ride! We recommend you invest some time in our resort to get familiar with all of the wonderful event space AlliantConnect has to offer.

Can we incorporate sponsorship branding opportunities into our event in AlliantConnect?

There’s nothing better or makes one feel prouder than seeing your company logo displayed for everyone to see! We encourage you to invest in branding opportunities to bring your virtual event to life, and create a memorable impression with your attendees. Our team will guide you through several different locations to brand and market your product for the most impact. Note: High-resolution JPEG and PNG files are recommended.  

How many guests can attend an event AlliantConnect?

AlliantConnect can accommodate up to 12k attendees for a single conference. Our General Session Rooms can host a maximum of 2,000 guests at one time. With (4) large General Session rooms, and over a dozen large breakout space and suites, Alliant Connect has the capacity to hold your virtual event.

Can I incorporate an Tradeshow Hall in AlliantConnect?

Yes, depending on the amount and size of the booths required for your expo hall, we can provide up to (125) booths in the expo hall at one time. We have four different size kiosks for your exhibitors to choose from. The unique designs with actual technology will allow your exhibitor marketing and branding creativity when choosing the booth that best suits their vision.

Can we incorporate live video streams in AlliantConnect?

Yes, we have the tools and technical resources available to help you incorporate your video streams. Our trained Event Production professionals will assist in guiding you through the technical process. Our team will offer solutions and options that will produce the greatest impact.

Can we record in AlliantConnect and have access after the event is over?

Yes, we can capture virtual events, and presentations, as we understand how important it is to have for archiving purposes that can be used at future meetings for verification of decisions, and as a reminder of past events and actions. Presentation capture is available as an add-on post production service. Depending on the scope of the work and expectation, access to the capture will be available, a minimum 10 days after the conclusion of the virtual event.

What is the difference between a virtual webinar meeting and AlliantConnect?

AlliantConnect creates a truly interactive and engaging experience which traditional webinar meetings do not offer to your attendees. This is not a just user watching a video being played on a website with a chat window being the only way to communicate; here the attendees are actually navigating through the environment, much like playing a video game. They are interacting with each other having two-way real time voice conversations with anyone else near them. This creates a sense of togetherness and shared space unmatched by traditional webinars and is the closest thing to live in-person networking.

Can we show video and PowerPoint slides in AlliantConnect?

Yes, we have the ability to UPLOAD your presentation file vs. screen sharing, so that your file is supported in real time. Our trained Event Production professionals will guide through the technical process and approach to implement the best solution for your presentation. PowerPoint/Keynote programs are supported. AlliantConnect also allows for screen share capabilities. All screens are outputted in 16:9 format.

Can we use polling/survey software in AlliantConnect?

Yes, with our screen share/projection tools it’s easy to integrate your Poll Everywhere, Slido, or any other 3rd party poll software results through our video system. We recommend using this type of application for audience participation. It can bring more interactivity into your event to further engage your virtual audience.

Can the audience have Q&A sessions in AlliantConnect?

Yes, because we are avatar based - asking a question is as simple as “Raising your hand”, and asking your question when called upon. Because it’s a live virtual world, your emcee/presenter has the option to organize a list of pre-planned questions to expedite. Further allowing for live attendee interaction, participation, and learning experience. Anymore questions?!

Can we demo your AlliantConnect platform?

What are some ways that our attendees can network within AlliantConnect?

Even if your attendees can't shake hands, they can still talk face-to-face. With so many locations in and around the Resort to choose to meet in, including many private chat areas for an intimate option. Simply pick a space, click and meet!

Can we use pre-recorded presentations in AlliantConnect?

Yes, in fact pre-recorded presentations are recommended for flawless execution. Pre-recorded presentations generally will assure the event goes off without a hitch. With option to redo the audio for slides if you aren't happy with it, play around with slide timings and transitions and end up with the full presentation recorded, makes for a win-win for everyone involved.

How early do we and our attendees get access to the event in AlliantConnect to create their personal characters and explore?

We want you to be comfortable navigating in AlliantConnect prior to the start of your program, so for security purposes, and respect to others in the resort, we allow guests access to the resort 72 hours prior to the event start date. This will give our guests participating in events the privacy, and peace of mind security to conduct their event.  

Do we have the ability to showcase multiple speakers on the same screen if there are panels or fire side chats in AlliantConnect?

Yes, by using our state of the art technology we can screen-share the panelists by ingesting their camera feed into our wirecast video system. At this time, we can accommodate up to (3) panelist at one time. It is recommended panelists use the proper video equipment for production execution success. Note: Video equipment can be supplied to your presenters by Alliant Events for an additional rental fee.

How much lead time do we need to compete the build of our program/conference?

A minimum of 4-6 weeks of production preparation/set-up time is required. This will allow our production team the necessary time to custom build your event, and ensure all production expectations are met. As well as schedule production components accordingly. For example: Program flow, presenter rehearsals and presentations, and pre-recorded presentations. Virtual events within 4 weeks of event start date may be subject to additional labor costs to ensure proper event execution.  

How do I set this up on my computer?

The installation process of our program is quite easy. There are a few simple steps to guide you through the download process of the application. Once you have completed the download and registration, you will soon be on your way to exploring all of the wonderful features AlliantConnect has to offer. Does AlliantConnect work on Mac and PC?

AlliantConnect is conveniently compatible with both MAC and PC computers. MAC and PC computers purchased within the last 5 years should have the supported operating system to utilize in Alliant Connect. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your computer, we recommend you check with your IT administrator.

How do attendees register?

Once you receive the URL link from your administrator or organizer, click on the link to download the AlliantConnect software. It will then prompt you to register. Once you have registered, and have agreed to AlliantConnects Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, you will be on your way to enjoying AlliantConnect’s virtual resort.

Does this integrate with any other registration platforms like Cvent or Marketo?

Bring the power and flexibility of Cvent and Marketo registration platforms to your virtual events. Use these platforms to drive attendance, process registrations, and capture actionable insights. When your virtual event is over, you’ll have a comprehensive view of all your events. Also, employ the right data to understand the impact and return of your investment of your full events program.

How many guests can fit in each breakout room?

As seating capacity is very critical to your smaller ancillary meetings, our breakout rooms can hold up to 31 guests at one time. Breakout Room seating arrangement is classroom seating. Our many boardrooms can hold up to 14 guests and can also be used for breakout rooms.  

How do you ask questions to presenters?

Asking a question in AlliantConnect is as simple as raising your avatars hand. Just as you would in a real life meeting environment. Once called upon by the presenter or emcee you can ask you question in the chat feature on your screen. Questions will be answered on first ask basis.
